I play left index on left.
Then right index on down right middle on up and right ring on right.

Haha I hate my style but I'm so used to it. xP

I started off FFR like this and played this way for almost a year, but i switched to the double setup because it helped in streams, crossovers, and accuracy

Q = left middle
W = left index
O = right index
P = right middle

But..I also have

A = up arrow
and
; = down arrow

I slide my right middle finger down to ; so I can do left/right index trills one handed (as I suck at 2 handed trills), and I move my left middle finger down to A so I can do up/down trills one handed. Is this considered double setup? I don't use it to cheat jacks, I just can't PA 2 handed trills at all...thanks.

That's like 1.5 setup. 1.5 rounds to 2, though, so who knows?

I'm the opposite, one-handed trills suck for me, whereas two-handed trills are great as long as I have stamina.

anything using more than 4 inputs for the 4 arrow keys is double setup. regardless of how it is used. this would fall under that category.

I use:
Left Index = Down
Left Mid. = Left
Right Index = Up
Right Mid. = Right

that's normal way of playing 4 fingered, nothing weird about it

I use my wedding finger for the right arrow, middle finger on the top, index on the bottom, and then I use my index on my left for the left arrow.

So weird, but it's the way I roll

ohh....am i weird? mine is:
left= left wedding
down= left middle
up=right middle
right=right wedding

I saw that a lot of people use the indexes but my wedding fingers have a higher power than index fingers.

but, in the end, unless you're using the DS to get really elite scores, nobody really cares.

So anyone with numlock off (unless you have a laptop without the numpad arrows) is using double setup?
