    Party 4u V2 Help

Got any tips on how to FC this song. I can do it theoretically, but because of the backround, i get lots of misses because i straight up cant detect all the notes that are coming at me, here is my best ever replay for the song. Notice where i miss notes the most, any help?

I tend to alter the brightness down enough so that the BG is less of a pain on the eyes, but you will need more than that.

You missed the most in a section full of gallops...... it's like the section later on where you had a 200 combo. Maybe you couldn't quite tell because of that crazy video? ^_^

Pretend that you're trying to break into a top secret russian government web-site, and only by fc'ing this song will you succeed...that's what I did...

Rofl, I should have fc'd, I missed the first 3 doubles(6 notes) trying to ajust my screen to SC, so anyway, I fc'd it after that and got 6 misses rofl.

my advice (and i think i'm still top25 on this song, so i know what i'm talking about):

1st: play in slo-down mode. your PA will suffer at first, but you'll have more time to react to the notes and recognize them vs the background

2nd: memorize each section. there are 5 or 6 distinct sections to the song, with lots of repetition within each section. The gallop sections, the chains sections, etc etc. also memorize where the 32nd staircases are and where the jacks are. only through memorization will you be able to FC this.

between those 2, you should be able to get the 666 combo that you desire. and once you have that down, you can work to improve your slowdown PA.

Just like if you hit 'try again' on ball of malt, it instantly stops the song and gives you a score of 0-0-0-0-0.

Well Tass's idea is a good one but really the only tricky part is keeping yourself focused on the arrows themselves. Don't change your speed mod. You just need to go through and take your time with each chunk of the song. The hardest section is around a 400 combo with the 2 framer jumps. Other then that just read carefully and cross your fingers.

^ yea, but if you watched my replay i can hit the framer jumps, its just the gallops where the backround is most frantic that i miss because it is beyond my mental capacity to see all the arrows. I think ill start by just dulling my monitor.

If you want to FC that song you need to whore it and memorize most patterns like Tassel said.

That song almost makes me seizure. I'm not trying again for a long long time.
The weight of what I say depends on how you feel.

My #1, let me clarify: play the song itself in slo-down. Aka, boo-out the 1st time, hit Try Again, and it'll play in slo-motion. That has nothing to do with your scroll rate or arrow speed. It's a bug in the level.

Do that, because the arrows moving slower (regardless of 1.75 or 1.5, the entire thing will be slowed down... so you'll like get a lot of goods. that's OK if your goal is to FC. PAing it in slo-motion takes practice beyond FCing) will make it easier to read them on the screen. And memorize the patterns, so you know what to expect... basically, just play it A LOT.

I'm aware that this may seem like corny advice, but just keep practicing until you get better at it.
