    Any tips for trills?

If its even a reasonably fast trill I can't even tell what's going on... I hit like 10 notes and then start seeings goods/averages and then a get misses. I would prefer any pattern (even like a 48464846) to this. There are even some VD songs I still can't fc with their slowish streams just because of long trills. If every other note in the trill were a jump (ie: two notes - not sure if that's the right term) I'd do better.

Maybe the answer is just practice, but I'm wondering if there is anything else to try to do as well because practice has made me way better at everything else except this it seems like.

Don't look at both notes, just concentrate on one and keep to the rhythm.

Download stepmania. Make a file with different trills at different speeds. Play it over and over again on justice judgement. That's what I did. Play until you can at least AA it.
I think trills are harder than running men/cross over/pivot.
I think drills are even harder than trills.
Also, arrows are color coded to preserve beat. To me, the color coding translates natrually in my mind.

I couldn't even get SM configured well enough to play it (I finally got backgrounds off but speed could only be set at C200 or C400 so I was screwed). I have no idea how to make a stepfile. And yeah, seeing which notes are 4th, 8th, 16th, 32nd etc by their color helps me tremendously, its just that after the trill has gone on for a bit I can't tell what's going on and the rhythm in most songs doesn't stand out enough to help me.

If I could get SM to work correctly then a stepfile with trills over and over again plus stuff like 464846484648's sounds like it would help alot.

          Then don't do SM.
I have a solution: when playing trills, try not to use two different fingers on the same hand if it is too fast for you.
You may also emphasize a note (Reffering to All_That_Chaz) when playing trills. When doing this in action, I recommend emphasizing the Red~Blue arrows, as they are clearly visible. In cases such as Radius-Hacker Yabou song, there is an up-down trill section, with light blue arrows and yellow arrows. When you see them, you will find out that the light blue maintains it's colour. I advise you to use THAT arrow as your base rhythm.

I listen to the keytaps when I'm doing trills. It helps me a lot.

Hit right on beat on the first arrow and keep tempo the rest of the way through. If it's too fast, play the trills with your index fingers if you can afford that without losing combo.

Are there any certain trills that give you trouble, or just trills in general? What style do you play?

                Re: Any tips for trills?

I play spread with my left pointer/middle on " and ; keys and right hand on 5 and 6 keys (only way to get my keyboard to register 4 keys at same time basically). I have problems on all trills and also like 464646464646 (which i guess are also probably trills). Anything two notes that just repeats for longer than like 10 notes I usually get screwed on if its a 16th stream and reasonably fast. Its depressing because I can handle streams that are significantly faster than the trills I still fail on (unless the stream is like 424846424846 or something hard like that).

For instance, I can do Gaussian Blur 3 consistently with anywhere from 0 to like 4 misses/boos, but just earlier I failed to FC Take Me back -- which should be ridiculously easy -- just because of a trill.

Although I don't really recommend this method, but you can do what Guardian said and do index conversions just for the trills. You won't be able to do that for every song effectively however...

Are there any songs that have trills right near the beginning? I honestly completely forget most songs as soon as I play them.

Trills as in the same pattern all the way, or different trills? K8107 has continuous changing trills near the beginning... Molto Vivace.. haha, like for the first 3 seconds... No sorry, can't think of anything genius.

If you REALLY need to keep the combo, just act like they're jumps. Hit one on beat, and the other at the same time, and just hit them like they're continuous double notes.
