Play Max Forever over and over and over... until you can constantly do the long up right and left down trills.
After you should be able to move up to K8107 and you'll eventually get to flight of the bumblebee.

I personnally just make sure i hit the first arrow of the trill correctly and i try to NOT focus on the trill after i know i did the first arrow correctly.

So yeah, practice practice practice.. until it feels smooth.

After fotbb you can download stepmania and fc reality and maybe sup WookE on Minami Ikebukuro Hardcore Custom oni.

Just played MAX Forever. I did all the trills in the first 1300 notes perfectly (except maybe a couple goods) and then randomly missed on two trill sections toward the end; I think I just get lucky when I do it right. I've been trying to focus on just one side of the trill but I can't even tell where the notes are for some reason. This is ridiculous because if those trills in MAX were replaced with 16th streams (that weren't themselves trills) I'm pretty sure I could FC them all even though the # of notes would have doubled.

just play files with trills a lot, people when they hate certain patterns, try to avoid those patterns, which means you will never get good at them. the only hard part about trills, are left down trills, and right up, if your having problems with up down, left right, left up, down right, i find that crazy weird, being its still 2 hands.

for left handed trills, try whoring the beginning like 140 steps of bb revenge, its like a 204 bpm one handed trill, and there's 2 of them. i can do 250 bpm one handed trills now

SM has helped me get better at trills. The problem with SM is after getting use to it you might not want to play FFR anymore.

Thats the thing, up/down is just as hard as left/down. With the slower trills I can move plenty fast I just can't tell where the notes are.


Also windsurfer, how do you change the note speed in SM (C200 and C400 are way too slow and I couldn't stand to play it)?

Or you can just go on SM and make a file that has nothing but trills. It's nice since you can gradually increase the BPM at your leisure.

ive rarely hit both left hand gets tired

u can always do the easiest mash until the end manuver (like jack them)
