          Index is when you use your index and middle fingers of both your hands to hit the arrow keys.

                  Index is using your index fingers, simple as that.

                  I find index useful for jumps- especially songs like Love Cheat! and Kyuin

                  I play 4-fingered, mostly, index for some songs (and I switch in the middle for some songs), and one hand/3-fingered for ridiculously awesome PA for standard- songs.

                                              I use a technique I like to call "smashing my freaking head against the keyboard until I get a freaking concussion". Also known as "SMFHATKUIGAFC", to abbreviate it.
