Re: one-handing?
I used to play 1 handed, and I could AAA easy **** like CIA Rave, etc... but no offense, 1 handers will only take you to a certain limit, before your done. That's what happened to me, and then i switched to 2 hands and now look, I can easily AAA Rose
Well not easily but still.. point is:
2 handers will always be better than 1. Nothing more, nothing less...
PS: What I said above doesn't apply to hackers :PvaginaComment

Re: one-handing?
I never will understand the point of these threads. There are technically 3 different playing styles. You have spread, index, and one handed play. Everyone has their own style. If you're playing this game for the fun of it then play with your playing style and leave it at that. If you're goal in this game is to conquer the leaderboards and become one of the best, then switch to spread. People need to stop making these threads. It's seriously annoying.Comment

Re: one-handing?
You can play spread without using any program to modify inputs. IE. Yes you can in fact play spread inside the game itself. So your objection is just invalid. Care to try again?I don't like using spread, I don't want anyone to take this offensively but I think it's kinda cheap seeing as there isn't a way to remap keys in the game itselfComment

Re: one-handing?
i played one hand my entire first year of SM. Then started spread very early in FFR.
There's no handicap in using one hand. each style has their advantages and disadvantages.
Just because you play one handed doesn't make you good.
if you find no good scores in it, SWITCH.Comment

Re: one-handing?
its only for that song i use two hands, unless i mash, only for the trills, every other song is one handed. and if you read the comments below yours, i actually said i used two hands, didnt try to trick anyone. Used one hand for everything but the trills...Statistics of Simonsmp:

Re: one-handing?
I joined about a month ago and played with one hand...
Then when I got to the standard songs, I could barely pass them, so I switched to two hands. Now I can pass tricky and some difficult songs. So I'd say two handing is a lot easier...
But what do I know? I'm just a newb. >.>Comment

Re: one-handing?
Oh c'mon people. i almost FC'd frozen (yeah, jumpstream) one handed, with almost a year's experience.
What I'm saying is, as long as you have enough experience in one playing style, there's nothing much harder than someone with the same amount of experience in a different style.
If playing one handed limits you, then why are you still doing? You prove nothing to a person who has less experience on spread or index. If they had the time to practice as much as you do with one hand, and reach your level, THEN would you say it's good?
This thread is pointless. And someone please help me with the terrible grammar I just used.Comment
