Any tips on PA?

Any tips on improving my PA?
I can FC Very Challenging songs consistently, and go up to like 600-700 combo on BB Revenge, ecetera..

But I have horrible PA that's always looks like as if I played the whole song offbeat..
I end up in Vertex Beta with like 1200 perfects and 200 goods.

Any tips for improving? :[

Practice, use speed mods, and screenshrink.

if you can combo but have bad PA, increase your speed mod or shrink the screen more. and just practice trying to hit all the arrows at the perfect time and hitting them to the beat of the song.

just like doug said, i believe that 1.50x is the most efficient speed mod, but it all depends on the persons reaction time. keep on goin at the song, it will get lower.

play stepmania, trying to hit fantastics is way harder then hitting perfects in ffr. This makes it easier to have good PA in ffr. Also increase your speed mod, i use 1.75.

I play on 2x.


PS: lower the graphics quality, this helped me a ton. And also, putting on dark can sometimes help.

Play hard stuff, your PA will come naturally as your speed increases.

Focus on the sound of your keytaps and try to keep them evenly spaced during stream

stand on one foot and spin around in a circle praizing the all mighty alla for 13 minutes then buy TK_Breed an ffr shirt while singing the american pledge of allegiance. oh yea and play ffr/sm more too.

Play with the AF for a while.

What helped me most (like everybody's already said ^_^) was speed mod. I went from having pretty horrible PA on difficulty 7-8 to getting over 20 difficulty 6-8 AAAs in two days just by using x1.25.

If you can FC Very Challenging, I'm assuming you already use a speed mod though.

For me, I turn off my music, and listen to my ipod, totally makes it feel like it flows.

Not being able to hear my key taps, and just focusing on how far apart the arrows are spaced =))))

I've never even tried something like that... I just turn my music to max... or mute if it's a Synthlight song
