To Those Who Use Speedmods...
What's your preferred speedmod of choice? I'm sort of experimenting right now, and I think I may kinda go with popular opinion. Also, do you screen cut when using speedmods?

I prefer x150 and for some of the real hard ones sometimes x175. As for stepmania I use x2 or c400.

Well, I used to use 1.25 speed and I would screen cut about 33% of the screen by zooming in about 200% or so... don't know why I did.
Now, I use 1.50 speed and I just zoom in to about 170% and make sure I can see the whole screen. It has improved my PA greatly but took a while to get used to.
Now, I'm trying to play at 1.75 speed on some occasion, like if it's an easy song, but is an even bigger adaptation for me to take on.Removed a .gif image so your total signature size isn't well over 1MB. Keep this in mind for the future.

ffr 1.75-2x for spread, 1.5 for index

i played on r3 for awhile so i was allready good with speed... i just had too wait for speed mod to be available. now i play on 1.75... on hard songs and 2 on about very diff... working on 3x... very hard

I'm back to 1x screencutting because it seems to work best for me but I got pretty used to all speeds and 1.75 is Solid.
I would go with 1.75x no matter what, It's the best one, No questions asked and other people's opinions don't count.Comment

i use 1.25, 1.5 is too fast for me but i am hoping that one day i can reach a comfortable playing level with it.

FFR 1.25 or 1.5, SM C450-C700. No screencutting or zooming.
And I use Low-Resolution WITH Low Quality for optimum lag-free performance.
ex 1h, mostly spread now when i play
