I support everything that actully requires skill : FC, AAA, SDG and so on.
Not all the other garbage thats impossible for me to get( Starman...)

I haven't bothered much with tokens for the past few days because of the get x goods/averages/misses/boos on a song. I like ones that do full combos, sdgs, etc and those are better too because it allows good players to prove themselves by being good enough to get say 9 goods on takecore, or 600 combo on piano etude, and players who can't have a goal to set for themselves in order to get the new skill tokens and improve their own level of skill.

Understandable, but I'm right there with you guys on the lag issue. But, I'd rather play with some lag than have to worry about some stupid amount of miss/avg/goods.

Not when you get a 60 good, 19 average non FC on Tension, when on single player, you can AAA.

I'm in total agreement with this thread, especially after the disaster that is the Starman req.

Will talk to others about this ASAP, this is getting ridiculous. When I pushed for skill tokens, I didn't imagine that something like 75% of them would force you to do badly to get them--this current stuff may be a "different type of skill" but it's a different type of skill that no one cares about. I coined the term "skill token", and I by skill, I meant actual skill at the game itself, not an assortment of random garbage skills that do not get you ranks, highscores, tierpoints, AAA's, or anything.

I don't mind having a few of them, but I greatly mind them being anything other than the vast minority.

Starman is easy to unlock.... I HATE AAA's and SDG's and BlackFlags!!! (those are gay). Starman was the most fun I've had unlocking a token in my life!!!

All of the world is soo hard to get, because I am (an fing) indexer and some of the middle is crazy. I currently love all the tokens as of now, they are very fun.

EXCEPT, songs like SH V2 (It took me sooo many tries to get it), Dazzling Soul (It is too hard for an indexer to FC), because I hate FC's SDG's BF's and all that, personally I love getting averages and goods and misses and boos. It is pure FUN!

Crow Song is stupidly impossible. How are you supposed to get more Averages than goods, BY AT LEAST 20!?

But if more tokens are just FC, SDG, and AAA songs, then the same people will get the tokens and even more people wont have fun with this =]

I agree with Adamaja456, but I also agree with hi19hi19. I think that there should be more FC SDG and AAA tokens, but not all of them should be that way.

fun =/= skill. mashing the crap out of a keyboard sure is fun, but you don't get skill tokens for that. AAA'ing things, SDG'ing, etc. takes the type of skill that skill tokens were founded upon.

i'm still waiting for someone to actually submit to me a GOOD ST req idea that is semi-original... i've yet to get one.

and really, i've tried to make almost every req be someone unique. just happened that the "anti-skill" reqs were on my mind when i made all of them (I made like 10 of the reqs all at one time, right before leaving for vacation. just got back).

working with rebirth and shash to get some "skill" token reqs for the rest of the month, while still keeping them original, fun, and some to be challenging.



but, really... bitching just annoys me. making a thread doesn't solve most problems when one person comes up with everything surrounding the topic of the thread. basically, you need me on board for this, as all those reqs were my ideas.

regardless, it's being taken note of and being worked on.
