lol i feel ya fido...im a veteran yet i havent AAA'd a thing,many AA's but no AAA its not downgrading,if u think about it,AAA'ing something means u sit there and play easy songs till u get all perfects which is more downgrading seeing as how u watse ur time

Not everyone has to play the song over and over to AAA it, some are just that easy. All of the ones I AAA'd I didn't have to play more than 6 times. I'm sure you've played some of the harder songs more than 6 times.

1. I play 4 finger style. I'm currently transitioning into spread but what keys should I use?

2. I'm not sure about this but is it bad to look at the target of the arrow instead of the direction its pointing?

1. Find whichever way you do your best, and work on getting as many perfects with as little goods on every song, don't always focus on FC.

2. It doesn't matter where you look, find where you're able to react in time to hit the arrow with a perfect, so pretty much, just get comfortable with the game.

Don't try for AAAs. Get good at hard stuff and then AAAs will happen.

EDIT- Also yeah switch to spread. It's good. And screenshrink. And practice. And have patience. Basically everything everyone always says to do.

EDIT2- Rather than trying to AAA something, try going for a tough FC. One good long-term goal is a Gradeus non-mash FC; it's not easy! Playing hard songs raises your stamina and thus your accuracy, although it may not immediately feel that way.
