I really don't understand what's so bad about having so many new songs. If the only reason is because you need more time to FC/PFC it, then get better so you can do it in less tries, or get a life. Simple solution. =)
Nice job showing your maturity level. And by the way, if you haven't heard, internet fighting is like the retarded olympics ... even if you win ... you're still retarded.
Wow, this is pretty sad that you have to swear at somebody to complain about getting too many songs to play on FFR. Way to go.
If you really hated so many new songs, you wouldn't play them. Then, since you wouldn't play them anyway, it wouldn't hurt your gameplay experience much to scroll though an extra page or two to select a song.
I do care about my average rank. I still like new levels because they're fun to play. However, since you're only concerned about your average rank, maybe you're playing FFR for the wrong reasons.
I agree with Valtrix ... if you care only to play new songs so that you can keep your average rank up, then maybe you need to re-analyze the meaning of a game.
You don't get anything by having a good average rank except to put something in your signature area ... big whoop. If you got money for it, then that's a different story ... but you don't.

Although he did it in what I thought was a rather senseless way of handling it, he was trying to say that you shouldn't call people "morons" if it isn't necessary.
And yes, we've all seen that sig, and some have seen this one:

wow you showed me there good, using internet sayings that are at least 10 years old is the way to go to really shut me down right
no you're ****ing retarded. stop calling well known and respected members of the forums a moron and maybe i won't be so "out of control". you and valtrix should just get off of each others nuts right now, it'd be appreciated instead of you guys being the ambiguously gay duo

i'm sorry but who died and made you the person who decided what the right reasons are to play FFR
people play FFR for a variety of reasons. some for fun, some for competition. luna falls into the latter category. so do everyone a favor and shut the **** up
Sertman, when it comes to your statement, I agree with you, but you cussing/nagging at people is only going to get more negative responses.
If you don't have to shoot, then just beat him with the backside of the gun.
it really doesn't matter how i say it, the fact of the matter is is that he called someone who i'd consider my friend on this forum a moron, so he's going to occur my wrath
Lmao ... before you jump, you might want to see what you're jumping into.
You're the idiot. I wasn't calling luna a moron. I just said "... moron" as a generic term. I didn't even know that was what it was all about until you said so.
Just because something is old doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't still have it's meaning.
And your wrath? Am I supposed to be scared of a 17 year old that can't do anything except cuss like a ten year old?
Unlike you, I don't judge people over the internet without ample reason ... which luna didn't. I wasn't calling him (or her?) a moron.
And by the way, it's "INcur" not "occur."
I'm pretty sure you started an argument that was entirely unnecessary, so why don't you go let out your anger on something else rather than on a site where you probably have a reputation?

In a more friendly way.......agreed. Even if you're going to respond, don't do it in such an irrational way.
First of all, we have to understand that this is FFR... the website is centered around the game... and the game can only be held together through songs/stepfiles. FFR is giving what it's supposed to provide. The people who enjoy and play the songs are the people who keep the site running. Please note that both sides are needed in order for FFR to survive.
About 4 months ago, FFR has really gotten a jump start in updates and features. The staff has given the site a lot of time and effort to put these new features in. These would include new songs, much more updates, faster site-loading times, subscription offers, merchandise, token songs, enhanced profiles, most played games list, and many many many more. This huge increase of enhancements have attracted many new members, and have captivated many members to stay and come back to FFR daily. Again, the staff is GIVING the PEOPLE what they have wanted all along, and more.
The members of the site, at first, are extremely enthusiastic about the frequent updates and active members. All in all, the site is much more enjoyable, and people who have different interests come here for whatever reason, whether it is to post in forums, chat in vid chat, meet new people from profiles, or just to have fun. A huge handful of the community come here to play the game. After all, it is what this site is mostly about. And in my opinion, people who play the game obviously enjoy it very much. More songs excite people who play the game, and it gives them more and more challenges. This, all in all, is a good thing for the site's popularity.
However, the staff does have to remember, that a good amount of players do actually try to improve themselves in their skill in FFR. Challenges, at first, are a game to them. A fun and stress-relieving game that enhances reflexes, excites human senses, and basically... keeps players happy. The amount of songs that come out at the moment, are a HUGE burst from what they were before. Now, two songs a week, even more for the subscribers, and even more songs for important events (such as holidays and birthdays). Like many other things, too much of a good thing can be bad. To serious players, more songs mean more challenges, but the human desire to be number one remains. The more songs there are, the more the desire grows. The more amount of songs, the more "stress" (for lack of a better term) grows. And this is what's concerning the serious players.
As someone said before, "moderation is the key." I think it's great how there are so many songs out, but it's harder and harder to keep track of what songs there are, what genre they are in, their difficulty, our individual rank, etc.
In my opinion, I think a great solution for this would be to continue with the songs of the week, but at the same time, give breaks for them. It could, I guess, be called something like a "buffer zone," where players can catch up on their progress. The times could be placed near long holidays or breaks, such as Spring Break, Winter Break, or long weekends (like Memorial Weekend). It sort of gives the best of both sides… songs and time.
