        The voice actors of boy characters are often women. This is commonplace even in America.

            When my dad told me the voice of Ash from Poke'mon is a female I completely denied it. The reason they have women play the parts of younger boys is because they're voices are closer to that of a boys while men's are too deep for a young boy.
