    3 fingers called?

I use 3 fingers when i play, and i wish to know, what is the best playing "style" when playing. I have heard of 4 finger spread, and 2 hand or somethin, but....i think it would be better if i just asked the community.

~Yes this was a newb question.

    RE: 3 fingers called?

4 finger spread is ideally the best way to do it, but whatever is easier/comfortable to you is what you should do. Indexing is easy for me and I find it to be a more relaxed position than spread. (or any other 4 finger style.)

You can use 2 fingers per hand on the numpad or arrows. You can use 4 on 1 hand including your thumb. Or, you can take your 2 pointer fingers (index fingers) and use them to press all the notes.

I started playing 1 hand 3 fingers but I found myself constantly button mashing on even mid-level songs. So I switched to 2 hands 4 fingers (2 on arrows 2 on num). It took a while to get used to, but is much easier when you get the hang of it.

yeah, but i use 1 hand 3 fingers, and switching to 2 hand 4 fingers is hard, i'll have to go back to doing super easy songs...and i'll be a loser

I use.... Index on left, Middle on up (and down) Ring on right. For the UpDown jumps, I just lay my middle finger flat and mash both arrows at once. Seems to be working for me.
