If you require IE to make FFR work, then FFR fails at the intranet.

I don't know if this will be able to top the way ffr is now (except for the cursor- I like that, it should be added) but if you want it at all usable, add a trasparent circle to each of those movieclips for the categories, so that people don't have to click the thin letters perfectly to grab them. I like some of your ideas, but I sorta like ffr right now how it is. I think their menu could be more usable, but I don't think the dragging thing is a better replacement.. but keep working with it.

How did you do the the swinging type deal on the pointer? Did you make the _rotation proportional to the difference between the mouse and the clip's position? that's cool. I think I understand, but still, very cool.

I avoid all sites with cursors such as that. They make sites look unprofessional.

With that said, I did not look at the rest of your designs.

Ladies and gentlemen, the one I'm working on is way cooler than anything I've publicly revealed. This includes the ones in the Staff Forum.

Thanks all for the critique and comments and .....whatever you call good comments. If I took some time on it, I could probably make it a lot better than anything you could do Chardish. ;P I may not work in graphic design as of this time, but I have some Uber sw33t c0ding skills on my side, And I don't see why that cursor makes "A site unprofessional" Your just crazy. =P You can't really say it makes it look unprofessional without a reason.
