    FFR Graphic and Interface Design

    FFR Graphic Design

Here are a few examples of possibly an updated version of the graphics and interface of FFR. This is only semi suggestion, and mostly what do you think Is wrong with it or should be added/changed. I will respond to E-Mails alot faster than the Forum. I'm a busy person. This is most likely NOT going to be what FFR will look like. I am just a fan.

XDNot technically what I meant. This is just an idea of what the graphics would be, but thanks for taking the time to comment. i'll update them asap.

I DO like the animated life bar (easy to do)... I wonder why Synth hasn't implemented something like that yet? o_O

I have to agree... The graphics will need a boost to top the ones already on FFR. I like the idea of each player in the MP stage having a seperate screen, instead of all on one screen... A little problem I see, tho, is the size of those screens... the arrows will be shrunk down quite a bit. Not really that bad, but I'll bet someone would find it annoying. Also, it seems redundant to have song info displayed twice... prob better to just have it to one side, or in the middle. No offense, but I like the way the songs load already, too... you don't see a loading cirle on many sites.

Agreed. But, again, prob better to do multiple colors (again as the bar works already) rather then the 2 shades of blue.

Thx Completelyincomplete for the sig ^^

The life bar shown here is just a movie clip of animated blue, with an animated mask shrinking over it... VERY easy to make and implement into FFR... But why hasn't it been done yet? Hmmmm... All well...

I agree aswell =P. The loading bar is just to get rid of that stupid circle loading thing with the 540 kb. It just bugs me. And it doesnt even work right.

Ok. I can work something like that out. But what kinds of colors? Dark to light? Rainbow? I need some ideas! =P

well, since red is basically a symbol of danger (and in just about every DDR bar, or game goes red when you're about to fail), have that go red. And pick a fun, nice color for when it's more full (green, blue, something like that) Basically, if you animate the bar with the colors it does now. Or experiment with other mixes and matches of contrasting colors, see what you like.

Update! I have added a demowheel and fixed up some graphics. Also added a custom FFR cursor. Even though its made from snagged pieces around FFR. Its still cool. Have fun!

It is a Flash File and you should have Macromedia Flash Player 7 ( or higher)

It is not a flash file.
