FFR NPS are done after getting frame raped by the converter, though looking at your code, it's similar.

New Features:

*negative BPMs/stops supported (would work as it would on x-mod)
*browse button added
*instead of having images pop up, the images are now saved into the song directory in a separate new folder titled "nps"
*support for 6key and 8key note: image titles are of form "difficulty-number of keys"
*any directory can be entered in now, although this may take some time if the entire SM song directory is inputted

This is really cool but not always what I want.
Would it be possible to get a toggle to have the images pop up versus save into the song folder?
A third option that I would also use is to be able to choose a directory you want all output images dumped into.
Being able to switch between these 3 output location types would be super useful.

Quick update that fixes the speed change issue (two lines of code were swapped when they shouldn't have been, pretty much)

Another suggestion:

Output filename should have the name of the chart in it as well.
For example "Death Piano hard-4" instead of just "hard-4"

This lets you put multiple images in the same folder without having to rename them all.

NOTE: I've included the .jar as well, as a couple of features don't work in the compiled .exe (namely, selecting multiple options and writing to some song folders, though it fully functions otherwise). You will need Java installed for the .jar file.

Newest version (2.3):
*fixes a rounding bug that screwed NPS data on edge cases
*fixes issues with invalid filename characters
*handles lots of other corner cases (only one chord in whole file, multiple BPM changes at same spot, etc.)
*adds options to pop up, write to song folder or output directory. If output directory choice is checked but left blank, the program will automatically write to Desktop\nps. (tip: type "DESKTOP\whatever_folder" to write to a specified desktop folder -- makes things easier)

also I redid the file naming system -- for example, Death Piano 4key (Hard) --> death-piano-hard-4key.png

So there was this difficulty glitch in the program that had not caught my attention before.

could there be a way to integrate this into a stepmania skin (scrolled over as you select each song)? that might be very special : p

EDIT: OH! if there was a way to plot the data out in a circular fashion (start at the top, rotate round clockwise looping back round at the top at the end, with the densities pointing outwards from the centre) you could effectively replace the old ddr groove radar with something a bit more sensical. certain thresh-holds of NPS could also be block-colour-coded so you know intuitively how hard something is by looking at the colours (something like red [easy] to violet [hard] -> white [super hard/joke??])
