So awhile back I had posted in a thread asking if I could be provided with veteran status since I had a 6 year old account that I had forgot my user to. I was told that if at some point I remembered my info, and could provide proof that the account was mine, that I could obtain veteran status on this account (since I have almost 6b total score and my other account is 5.5 years old). I have done so and was then denied veteran status by Bmah... I'm not entirely happy, since I was originally told I could get this.
I'm slightly confused.

Re: I'm slightly confused.
This is something that would've been better had you talked to one of the other admins instead of making a thread about it.

Re: I'm slightly confused.
You can't combine stats to get a Veteran status. Whoever told you that was either some strange exception that should've never occurred, or they gave you misinformation. I've never made an exception to anyone myself on this.Comment

However, transferring Veteran to newly made accounts has been done many times. Gradiant is an example of this.Dun Dun Dun Dun Dun Dun Dun Dun Dun Dun Dun Dun Dun Dun Dun Dun beepComment

Please read a bit more carefully. Elmerz is asking to COMBINE stats from two accounts in an attempt to consider himself eligible for a Veteran status. However, transferring Veteran to newly made accounts has been done many times. Gradiant is an example of this.
People who want a Veteran status transfer would already need to have the requirements met in another account. All they're doing is transferring an account with an existing Veteran status to another.
Correct.
If I played a video game that had two save files on it, each with different sorts of accomplishments, you cannot combine those save files to meet a goal that neither of those two have accomplished individually. It doesn't matter if you've put a ton of effort (combined that is) into those two save files.
I have heard of a very few cases where an exception may have occurred, but this was back when there was no form of standardization for Veteran status transfers. A line has to be set though. The exceptions stop here.Comment
