Re: Define a "Good" player.
Good is really subjective. The average player in the casual gaming pool on FFR probably still has occasional trouble FC'ing 5's. For example, if you FC a 7 or 8 in front of a group of people that have never played the game, they'll think you're some god for being able to do so. Also, considering the fact that it took me FOREVER to get my first AAA (it was a year after I made my account on Power), I think being able to AAA anything, particularly anything 3 or above, would make someone a good player in the eyes of the average person walking down the street. Also, even passing a song without mashing is a good indicator of skill. If you told a random friend who's never played FFR to play Flight of the Bumblebee with less than x amount of boos (this allows minimal mashing), then chances are, they'll either fail out of the song or go over the boo count limit. So even being able to pass some fmo's and fgo's would make someone in the eye's of the average person "good." I can AAA songs that my friends probably couldn't even pass, so I'd consider myself "good", although that doesn't mean that there's no room for improvement however.
In my opinion:
Good:
-FC'ing 8's or higher
-Passing 11's and 12's
-AAA'ing 3's or higher
Pro:
-can pass every song in game (with a possible exception on vrofl)
-can AAA 9's or higher (I'm using this benchmark since the amateur scores thread only allows lvl 8 AAA's and below)
-can FC 11's or higher
Elite:
-can AAA FMO's
-can FC almost every song in the game (with the exception of 13's and high-end 12's)
God-Tier (this tier has it's own sub-tier since FGO's encompass a wide range of difficulty, but I won't go there)
