So I have been working literally all day on this tournament lol
Writing out the posts and reviewing, finishing, and converting files. So much stuff to do!

But just to fuel the hype I'll give you a cool video:
I gave the D5 round 1 file to Staiain and he played it in SM, consider this your first full file preview haha. Also he didn't AAA it (even though it was just his sightread) so yeah, it's not easy
D5 has by FAR the hardest round 1 relative to their skill level.

Okay, doing a massive update now with all the new signups and stuff, then shortly after that I will post the revised division list.
It's still not going to be final until the end of Round 1, so if you still have a problem with your placement we can still move people around a little.

Also the credits for the Spon Con will be handed out at the end of Round 1 as well. I don't want to do it before the divisions are final, for obvious reasons. Thanks for being patient.

EDIT- got all the signups down. Big update incoming!

D5A: PAs 13s extremely well. The usual elite.
D5B: No problem PAing mid-high FGOs, can read and decently PA 13s.
D5C: Can PA low and mid FGOs, can read high FGOs well and PA them somewhat.
D5D: Can PA low FGOs, can read mid FGOs well.
Lowest file will be low FGO, most files in the high FGO range, ends with a 13.
The D5A flight will be punished for being too good at this game in the later rounds, I have some surprises

D4A: Can PA high FMOs and possibly the lowest FGOs, but struggles with higher FGOs.
D4B: Can PA low and mid FMOs well, can possibly read a few lower FGOs but difficulty PAing them.
Lowest file will be low FMO, most files in mid FMO to low FGO range, ends with a high FGO.

D3A: Able to PA nearly all VCs, can read mid FMOs well.
D3B: PA the lower VCs well, can read up to the low FMOs.
Lowest file will be a mid VC, most files in the high VC and low FMO range, ends with a low FGO.

D2A: PAs nearly all 9s and can read VCs.
D2B: Able to PAs 8s and can read many 9s and possibly low VCs.
Starts with an 8 and goes up, ending with a mid FMO.

D1: Difficulty PAing 8s and lower.
Starts with a low 6 and goes up to a mid VC.

Crazyjayde in D3A does not make sense imo.
Most of his lvl 11-12 scores were done before he quitted 2 years ago. He's not a the same level than before.
At the moment, he's way more focused on doing all levels 8 AAA, the only times when he's playing higher levels is on multiplayer when we play against each other. (I beat him 70% of the time.) (the thing is, I'm also in D3B)

I was expecting seeing him in D2A or barely in D3B.
(then, that would mean only 4 people would compete in D3A...)

Thank you for this notice. I was actually quite unsure of where to place him.
I will move him down to D3B. Because he does have some comparatively good 10 and 11 scores from a long time ago, skill tends to return quickly enough that he will be fine in D3.

Only 4 people in D3A is acceptable, after all D5B and A only have 4 or 3 people respectively. But competition can still be fierce

I'll make this change in a bit, off to dinner~
