Though I love FFR, Stepmania is a wonderful game too... certainly you will find many things to enjoy on SM as well

You certainly have!I've been playing this for several hours starting on 0.8 rate and speeding up and I can finally pass this on normal speed! Once I got past the beginning I was better...score is still atrocious though but I will start playing SM more

There's your problem. Install some Cmods and try again with those. You use 1.35x, so maybe start at C400 or so, and increase it if it feels too slow.

EDIT- I'll count the PA runs on higher rates that's fine. I realize it might be a little boring for high D5 players... but on the other hand it IS a good consistency test so shaddap

I don't think they should be counted. I can hit a song like that at 1.2 rate too, but the challenge is to play exactly that song, not the song on a different rate. If the D5 people can post scores on 1.2 then the D1 people should be able to post scores on 0.6 - same logic there.

I don't think they should be counted. I can hit a song like that at 1.2 rate too, but the challenge is to play exactly that song, not the song on a different rate. If the D5 people can post scores on 1.2 then the D1 people should be able to post scores on 0.6 - same logic there.

Well the difference is one makes it "technically harder" but I see your point.
