Why isn't Midnight D4A material when he's only 10 points behind me? Hope people continue to not submit.. round 1 kinda ****ed me over.

This round for D4 is very weird, scores are all over the place. As I sort of expected.
I have put a long time into placements for D4 and I'm really hoping they will even out in the long run- the only person I'm truly concerned about is megamon, but he can stay for now.
I'm not going to change placements based just on people's performance on a really niche type of file (heavy trilling/jacking file)

Make Round 3 ridiculously fast JS so I can shit out a good score

Already told a few people, Round 3 for D5 is going to focus mostly on 2-handed anchor jacks (i.e 22(23)22) which most people don't find bad.
There will also be some very heavy jumpspam sections (similar to the end of Across Rooftops) which might annoy some people, but I put a good effort into making them flow very well.

Round 4 is a gigadelic style JS file. It's a few BPM faster but with significantly less gay patterns in the JS, and the JS sections are a little shorter/burstier too.

Round 5 is just gay aids that I eagerly await everyone raging hard at, and Round 6-7 are secrets for now

I don't know if you knew this or not, but trills like those are pretty easy when you used to play Index pretty well.

Plus Preggers by that logic Frozen Angel would have to be moved with me being how close that score is to mine.

Decided to random try this again after a quick SM session, picked up the good in the first trill rofl


Not gonna stress too much during these early rounds if cumulative scoring's involved. Should be able to hold my own when we get to 13s.

Okay, so I just finished the round 3 files.
This is how it worked out:
D1: A high 8. Turning up the difficulty a lot this round for you guys.
D2: A high 9/low 10. Enjoy your jumpstreams.
D3: A low/mid 10. My file for D3 wound up WAY easier than I anticipated, so enjoy this break before things get really rough for you guys (Round 4 is shaping up to be a mid FMO)
D4: A borderline 11/12. I'm rating it FGO to start with but if people want me to bump it down I can. It's FAST.
D5: A mid 12. As usual.

This is really the last of the "easier" rounds in this tournament. The next four rounds are where it really heats up for D1, D2, and D3.
D4 only got 1 "easier" round, and D5's lower divisions started hard right from the beginning. The highest divisions in D5 are going to have to wait until Round 6 and 7 for their 13s, I'm afraid.

It's right, right on the border. I liken it a lot to Eradication here on FFR, except a little longer and a *little* more aggressive, hence why I'm starting with FGO.

heh D5's file this round is like the Round 1 file, except it flows better.
That's not stopping it from being covered in bootrap anchor patterns though :3

This is actually the last of the jack files for D5 lol


EDIT- Tomorrow I will finish up the Individual Round scoring and Tournament Points spreadsheet and get it posted.
I also plan on reading through the entire thread and all my PMs again to see if I missed anyone asking for an extension.
I've been kind of lazy tracking the extension requests, which is something I intend to fix.
