I feel like this tournament is all about controlled mashing. Starting with Round 3, I've had to mash something in every song, and now in Emerald Sword [ONI], it's not even controlled mashing, it's just straight up hitting randomally on all the streams and praying.

I know I'm not going to win anymore, I've played Emerald Sword [ONI] 10 times through at least, and still don't have a score under 400 goods.

The 24th stream is only 300 bpm... it's the same density as the alternating JS sections that come right after it lol

And the patterns in the [Heavy] chart are as friendly as I can make them short of pure rolls.

I'm not the best at reading rolls let alone hitting them. For example I suck ass at the ending of Electro Rush V2 and I cant hit Reality's stream, or Rain, etc.

i haven't really had to mash yet... anyone else in D2 agree?

"Early" means late goods, meaning that the offset you use needs to be a positive number.
"Late" means early goods or averages, meaning that the offset you use needs to be a negative number.

It's important to know when to use negative and positive so you don't wind up making it even worse, haha

lol now i feel like a tool. of course i know what offset is and how to change it. for some reason i read it as "offline version fixes the offset". so i was puzzled about this supposed offline version!

I've improved it a tiny bit, the JS is the only part where I derp goods since I can't find the right offset.

The thing I love about this tourney is it's not a AAA fest. That's how it should be with every tourney. Hard enough songs that no one will AAA.

I like AAA fests for a least a few songs. I don't want to have to mash this much.... I feel like I have to get "lucky", not rely on my skill. I mean sure, some parts of the song I can mash with a slight bit of control, but other parts, I'm just hitting randomly and praying.
