I've already shown that my sightread of D3's file was significantly better than my best attempt at D1's file; I'm obviously not going to SDG the D3 file because I can't SDG anything at all ever. However, if you'd like I'd gladly post screenshots again showing that I can combo D3's file FAR easier than D1, and considering that's what counts the most for combo scoring...


I don't know why you're being so hostile lol, all I'm saying is that, this round, the D1 file has patterns that are way harder for me than the other 2 divisions.

And for "noobs" (which I guess is now the term for anyone worse than Frank Munoz) obviously if you don't have the speed to combo 1handed trills at 160bpm that file is going to be infinite harder than many other patterns.

lul, I get +30 goods on D1's file. And I get +40 goods on D2's file.

Just because it's easier to AAA at high-level play doesn't mean it can't also be extremely hard until you reach the threshold of being able to do that pattern.

And yes, this is exactly what I meant to say. This is the reason why some people think the files are ranked horribly wrong.
But, ffr grades, imo, with the ability to AAA at high-level play.

Still harder for me than the other two divisions but at least I know I can do the patterns now.
I find this file a lot easier to read if you lower the scroll rate- usually I read at 1.85x but I used 1.7x and 1.75x for this and it helped a lot. I also think it's easier to combo if you use Mirror, but easier to do accuracy if you play it regularly, but that's just for me.



p.s. I FC'd D2 file in 2 more tries, and got a 5 miss run on D3 file. The D2 file is SO much fun please tell me there's going to be a file like that in the future for D1 :P

Yeah I have to say, as much as I rage about the D1 file I am having a lot of fun with this, and it's really well run.

Edit: AAA is definitely harder on D2.

I'll be having far less time than I was expecting in real life, so...well, I'm not dropping out, but I'd like to be in for raw scoring only, not combo. Combo scoring really ticks me off anyways.
