Yesterday i would've been eligible for D3, but i went up 530 ranks! (3210 > 2780)
(Also don't ask me how i went up 530 ranks, i have no ideaa)
But now i'm D4 and get all the hardcore songs ;w;

If you were that close to D4, there is a just about 100% chance that simply -playing- the D3 songs would have pushed you into D4 anyway.

who cares about winning just embrace the fact that its gonna force you to push yourself to improve more lol, the whole point of tournies is to improve

i havent seen a single person who came in 1st place in a FFR tournament end up in the same division they started, often people start in like d3 and end up in d5 if they end up coming in 1st

Your 10k might be small compared to the total prize pool, but if you want you could donate it separately directly to a winner of your choice.
