The only death threat that I ever received in my life was from you hahaha. Hopefully it will be my last... Please do realize that death threats are not going to solve anything (in fact they create more problems).

That said, it's cool to have strong opinions. But if you really have something against my files, please be constructive about it. What don't you like about my stepping in particular? Jump usage? Layering? etc. Feel free to PM me to chat about it. I'm happy to listen.

Hey toxicity can you sync this song for me. I've been putting it off for years because syncing is a pain. But since it's such an easy thing for you I'm sure you could knock it out in a couple of minutes

I guess technically speaking syncing is the easiest part in that you don't have to think about patterns yet, but if you're someone who has no idea how to properly chart, and you're trying to chart something that isn't a static bpm, you're likely not going to get beyond syncing it anyway
bad patterns in a chart that's synced properly are still playable, it's just not fun
bad sync makes your chart unplayable, regardless of whether your patterns are good or not

The First Stepping Period has Begun!

During this time, all participants will have received a Direct Message from me containing their Class, Song for Round 1, and their Pre-built .sm File to begin Charting. Also included, is a list of everyone else's assignments, and links to all songs currently active in this round. For the public, that list is available below in the spoiler. If you are participating and did not receive a DM on FFR, please contact me, you may have Direct Messaging turned off.

All participants will have until the end of Thursday, April 14th Server Time to complete their submissions and submit it to the StepCon 2022 Batch located here.

Furthermore, if participants wish to change which song they would like to work on, you may now discuss/agree within this thread the exchanging of songs between participants. The deadline for this is the end of Thursday, April 7th Server Time.

PLEASE NOTE, that if you DO exchange songs, you MAY ONLY DO SO ONCE, FOR BOTH PARTICIPANTS. This is to avoid and curb any 'trading up' to songs that have more inherent value for stepping or putting economic values on songs.

Best of luck to all those involved in StepCon 2022! Looking forward to some of the patterns and choices that go into these submissions!

thats strange, you seem to have misplaced me. I'm pretty sure i was supposed to be placed in class D. You've seen my charts right? That songs perfect for me. I understand, there must have been a glitch in the system or something. Class C is clearly so utterly wrong for me that i'm positive of it. I can forgive the mistake. Its all cool. Just make sure to send me the right file next time.
