I remember actually talking to AJ about final round possibly being full songs but don't remember if there was any discussion with the rest of the events team. AJ and I are judging and I can say I don't think either of us would mind so as long as Yoshl is on board with it then it should be fine.

You're not required to do a full song, some people wanted to and we decided to allow it.
