Finally AA'd Quasar!

Yeah, after seeing arch's 1.5x quasar vid, i downloaded the file and have tried about 20 times to AA this song, and i finally did!

But You need to work on your PA/MA. As in how many marvs/perfects you're getting.

You don't see to have much trouble hitting the arrows, but you're PA is really hindering your ability to do well. Concentrate on hitting marvelous, and try to get your great count down. Don't worry so much about missing...just the PA. You can get rid of misses later. PA is the key to being really good.

I can't do well on this stepfile without putting it on 1.1 or 1.2 speed.

Actually, I suggest you completely ignore PA until you have no trouble hitting arrows better. It's the easiest way to become a well-rounded player. You aren't ready to manipulate your development yet.

I never get them untill the song is really fucking fast/a slip up, so a few.

If he can't FC Eggman's Quasar with ease, there is no way he can fine tune his gameplay yet. He has a lot of other things to take care of.

Just keep working on tackling your FCs on progressively harder songs, and then you can worry about your PA.

If it was different, people like jello would be better than me. Its more about control, technique. He will gain that by working the PA.

Im not saying play simple stuff, gatta play hard stuff to improve, but work on the PA a bit.

See, I AA'd Max 300 on foot (at the arcade) yesterday and I didn't FC. It was because my PA was very high. You can get really low greats but still AA very easily even if you miss. For example, when I AA'd Uber Rave for the first time (now it's really easy but I still don't FC), I had quite a few miss/boo/good, but very low greats.

Working on your PA is much more important then working on FCing things.
