I got a 20 hit combo on Tales of symphonia. I was able to get two swoard rains on the baddie.

SERIOUSLY HYDRO. THAT'S HORRIBLE.

My max combo was around 100. I might have gotten higher. I can't remember. I'll screenshot if necessary.

Basically on Abyssion, we got me doing Sword Rain: Beta and my friend continually casting Tidal Wave at perfect times. Then, top it all off with a sweet Unison Attack which added 40 more. WIN.

20 is like "Combo Newbie" title or something. I have the "Combo Master" title, but it's useless where I am (THE END OF THE GAME TWICE).

That's a lot of encounters squeek O_O. I beat mania with like 800.

Brainmaster - There's a good reason for that gald / encounter rate.

Gald = Having Blue Sephira on for about 75% of the game.

Encounter Rate = Wanting the DA to be EXTREMELY POWERFUL. They are. What? 3,000 damage on a single slash? Oh. Wait, beat the final boss in 15 seconds? Darn.

Also, Grade Shop needs Grade, Grade is gotten from many many battles. I had 8,000 grade when I beat the game. Oops.

Well worth 3,000 grade I say.

I'm only in Flanoir in that game too. I love the second play through. Though I'm kinda playing Skies of Arcadia now. Very little time available for games I've beaten.

PS - Genis is far greater than Colette. Switch her in only for the temple boss battles.

PPS - Tip. When Raine gets the upgrade to Photon and Genis gets any of his "T-slant" magic moves at level 3 (maybe 2), put those together in a unison attack setup. Prism Stars is a 30 hit combo, her attack is 1-5 (depends on size of enemy), Genis's attacks hit about 9. Then do Sword Rain for about 10 and get whomever else you have in to attack with whatever. You should be able to get about 60 this way.

Though, make sure you hit with Lloyd all 3 (or 4) times first.
