Shame 2-0-0-2 of the score was on the easy parts rofl

Scarhand remains very secure behind that one handstream transition.

I fucked that one part up on otherwise clean runs like 8 other times tonight.
Isolation didn't help. Another example:



If I do well in the streams, I screw up the JS.
Every. Time.

At least I FC'd and held the SDG, I'll take it.
That trill transition at the end though, please.

Did NOT expect this.

Every time I do well on the first part, I screw up the ending.
Every time I do meh on the first part and say fuck it, let's keep going, I do well on the ending.
Example:

Ugh, both of them on stupid easy parts. This could have easily been an AAA, huh.
I don't care though, I'll get it eventually.
This file is a masterpiece so I'm totally going to be playing it again anyway (shoutouts to rog)

This is a pretty bad score but I'm posting it just because Eze implied it wasn't worth posting.
I honestly could probably cut like 5-10 goods or FC (or both, on a good run!)

I thought, "wow rank 50 this must be a great score!"
Then I realized the PA wasn't actually that great, it's just that nobody plays this file. Oh well.
I actually lagged pretty hard in the second solo part so maybe I could do a little better. The transitions and one-hand sections aren't AS bad as I remember (but they're still pretty bad lol)

I honestly don't even know if this is good or not.

This really doesn't feel easier than v1 to me 0_o
Maybe it's because I'm still too slow to really do the jumptrill transitions properly.

This score isn't that great but I'm posting it because I remember subin trying to convince me that this file was "basically just as easy as Reality you should try AAAing it instead"

Hey idiot you missed one!

Holy shit I puckered my butthole SO hard at the end of this file.
I thought for sure I missed on the last burst, but my shitty keyboard doubletapped for me and gave me the FC.
I totally don't deserve this; I'll praise my shitty laptop keyboard just this once.

Also, this file feels offsync or something, I get TONS of random goods. I'd probably have to tinker around with offset if I cared about scoring on this file but I got the FC so I'll probably not play it again for a few years at least.

File is much more fun than I remember. Pretty happy with the score.

Pretty happy with finally getting this FC.
I blatantly jump-mashed the hand with the 12th jack+polys in the ending (left hand on mirror)
No regrets, would mash again.

I got a little excited after doing so well in the streams and screwed up a transition, but in general this seems like a solid score.

Also I was trying to explain how I felt about this file and Nathan nailed it for me:

I got like 2-0-0-1 on the ending I think?
Would be great if I could get there with a clean score though rofl

Welcome to D6, cornman. Those are some very sexy scores. I too mash the ending of winter wind etude, because wtf are those patterns. Grind2, M8bit, ultrasounds, ah sweh bah, necropotence and hardcore atomic stand out for me.

I'm not very good at this kind of file, it will be very difficult to do better.
It scares me to see other people in D5 getting super low SDGs on this.
If I'm going to be eliminated in the tournament it's probably going to be to a low SDG or die round on a file of this difficulty.

I won. For now. I have a feeling he can improve still.

Played at the request of Luis.
Slipped a little in an easy jumpstream near the end, or else this would have been a much prettier score. Still felt decent.

Screwed up some one-handed trill stuff in the middle and the color rolls/trills at the end. AAA'd everything else.
Improvable but probably not by much until I can get my speed up to do the middle properly.

Poop, didn't get the SDG.
Still an incredible improvement for me. I really like playing Dossar files in this difficulty range, they fit my hands so well.

Speaking of Dossar files... First SDG on an 85.
I've been told this score is actually more impressive than Scarhand get. Feels good bro.

Could only play about an hour tonight, still got some noteworthy scores.

First though, tonight's segment of "Watching Me Get Owned By Bmah:"






At least I comboed this one, and AAA'd the ending again.

My sightread on this, 2 restarts were at the very beginning due to lag.
Felt okay, middle section is definitely hard to PA but, for a 79, not too bad.
There's definitely 77s and 78s I find way harder than this so I could easily see it being moved.
Fun file overall. (Average was definitely my keyboard btw lol)

This one wasn't my keyboard, I just accidentally an arrow.
Definitely AAAable but I need to work on consistency/fluke run to be able to do it.

4g improvement. Decent but some of the stuff in this file is pretty wtf so it's hard for me to feel if I can do a lot better or if this is my limit.

11g in the wall, 2g from my random screw up in the easy middle part.
2g in the repeat of the first breakcore section, but then I majorly goodrushed something in the final part. Still felt decent.



Replay didn't save of this, but this is a great new FC for me.
Perhaps I can push for low 20s or even teens on this, it feels very readable.
Hard in a good way.



Also I did the thing in the tournament, that felt good too.

Small dump from today. Only had time so far to play for like an hour, but I still got some good stuff.

THIS is overdue as fuck.
Felt as good as when I nailed Rottel, being able to clear these old boss files is so gratifying. I think next up is Piano Etude Demon Fire, then Reality!

How is everyone else so good at this file...
This was after over a dozen tries and I finally got my SDG, but only barely.

Not an improvement, just posting because holy shit the chokes.
This file feels very AAAable for me except these few transitions in the latter half of the file. I need advice on how to do this, isolation didn't help and I'm pretty consistent at screwing this section up.
The big problem is those "color hands" that weren't BPM fixed so they aren't actually hands.
The fact that those ones have a random grace note instead of properly being a hand throws me off SO much.

New FGO SDG... oh wait this is apparently a 75 even though it's actually an 81.
The rating on this file is so dumb, it has less AAAs and FCs than My Fxxkin Desire For You which is an 83 that was added more recently and has over a thousand more plays and over two hundred more players. lmao
Felt really good to nail all those random insane parts, I feel like this was a super flukey run and I'll not be able to repeat this for a long time.

Had a great session tonight (even though I was supposed to be writing one of my papers... I have 4 due this week oops)

Started the night by getting an AAA on a FGO... at least it felt that way.

Cool unlock. Overdue AAA, finally worked over my mindblocks on the ending part.

Getting closer to this AAA.
Slowly overcoming the trouble spots, now it's about getting that one good run.

Actually my first full serious playthrough of this file.
Only a couple spots tripped me up, this is a serious option for trying to get another FGO AAA.

Obligatory "wrecked by bmah" score of the night:

Whoa I totally forgot about this file.
Got one good in the intro and didn't care because I thought I'd do much worse than this.
I don't have that much problem with the intro if I was going for an AAA, but getting those jacks all in one run is a bit of a tall order for me still.

Getting into the good stuff.
Only one of the goods was in a split roll (the middle one is harder for me starting on the left hand)
One in the very last ending roll -> trill transition, and three totally random derps.
Felt like a solid performance for a file rated at this difficulty but at the same time, I can obviously do better.

Meh, file barely feels like an FGO to me but I respect that it's probably very hard to stay consistent on.
Probably too hard for me to stay steady enough to AAA, but maybe I can clean this SDG up and lower it a little.

I honestly feel no difference in the file... was it really worth updating?
I find the middle pretty easy, I usually make it to the poly part with 1 or 2g max.
The ending is still a little hard for me, but on a positive note, this run I AAA'd the one hand trill into 24th part!
Oh well, at least I improved my score by 1 good and re-FC'd it.

This was absolutely heartbreaking.
Blatant keyboard error, it skipped one keytap that led to me getting the average, the miss, and probably at least one good too.
I know I can SDG this!

Whored it for a while, developed mindblocks on everything, switched to mirror, got this.
I can't properly do that handjack part 25% of the way in on mirror, which led to me not getting the SDG.
At least I FC'd. Acceptable but it's still a sad score knowing that I am capable of SDG.

Tried it a few more times after trying to replicate my success at all the other parts, but I started to mindblock on things so I gave up.
I'll come back for this SDG sometime, it feels attainable.

Playing this file is emotionally painful for me, it's like having to watch a video of someone killing my baby.
I've still not forgiven whoever put jacks in this file! (even though I don't know who it was lol)
Anyway I mashed the jacks for the FC, I imagine I won't play this again for a long while.

I died a little inside. Keyboard miss again, for sure.
The transition is hard, yes, but I'm SURE I hit that hand.

I did manage this on my next try, so yay another SDG on an 85, but man, what could have been... (3-0-0-2 would be rank 18 rip)
