A second 74 AAA.
Had to whore this one out a bit because of the transition into the JS being very tricky but I got it eventually. Nice short speed file, suits me well.

FINALLY a clean score on this.
But that trill transition still eludes me.
Mirror helped a bit by putting the hard part on my right hand, but still not enough.

Trying to get Scarhand!
All my old scores on this were like 13-2-0-7, really messy.
Finally figured out how to do the transition from the opening jacks into that hand part.
Definitely an option alongside Reality for Scarhand whoring, but I feel too inconsistent still.

Okay my hands are beat, I need to take a break.
Not keyboard misses, just legit not hitting a key from lack of stamina.
This coulda been a sweet blackflag, oh well. Another option for sure.

Only played a bit tonight but got some cool scores.

Obligatory tournament AAA post:

Had a sightread AAA but keyboard missed right at the end.

Took a few more tries to clear the rage and actually finish what I started.

First try on FFR. Great PA but what the hell is the rest of the score lol

Better. That one drum fill about 75% of the way in ruins me.
Of course I AAA'd it on that first run and haven't been able to since then.

Clean score on this is good. Felt like an overall solid run for me, any better would take a lot of work and some luck.

Finally got a clean FC of this. Man this file is harder than it looks.
After the intro, basically every part is hard. I feel like I can screw up anywhere.

This felt great. File's difficulty is definitely overrated, it's probably an 81 or an 80, but still a very nice new FGO SDG for me.

My goal for this round or the next is to go Super Saiyan and unlock Scarhand.

I've been so close for years and I really want to make it happen.
(Remember I got 2-0-1-0 on Reality back in December 2011 when I was barely considered D4...)

Transformation's gonna have to wait until next week probably because I have an important exam this Friday.
After that though it's a long weekend, lots of time to charge my spirit bomb...


One thing that I think is really helping is that I've set my speedmod to 2.75x
I might even go up to 2.8x, the additional space helps a lot.

How to not mess up the horrible patterns in kono spoon? Lolo, forbb, piano etude, shitsubou, gunkienen, umbral ultimatum, a quick death...damn, cornman, you got a lot of really nice scores there. You'll have good chances of landing a top 4 spot in D5, as I predicted.

I had a good score going until the last jumpstream, but the frame errors with the green arrows threw me off a lot.

I honestly feel this improvable, maybe even AAAable for me but I don't enjoy the file or the song so I'll probably not whore it.

Slowly improving on this. I feel like it's SDGable but I can never keep it together at the end.
Then I remember the end is the only reason it's rated this high in the first place and I'm like, oh yeah, that makes sense.
Hard file but I enjoy it so I'll keep trying.

This is definitely SDGable but I've never, ever managed to do well on both streams and the JS after them all in one run. Someday.

I reversed the one hand trill right in the middle, which sucked, but I managed to keep it together somewhat for the ending.
A pretty solid first FC, but I'll definitely try to improve this soon.

(After 5 tries I quit FFR and bitched about the file in Skype that's why you don't see all the retries listed)

Those jacks... this file is so troll.
Then again, I should realize I sign on to something like this when I load up a Spitfire file.

This is an excellent file, it's a shame so few people have it.
A nice SDG for me too, it's deceptively hard for me to PA.

That ending is always way harder than it looks, I'm surprised I kept the SDG.

If only back when I was making this file, I knew the technique of splitting up long trills into smaller ones...

This was a royal pain in the ass to AAA. Not my kind of jumpstream.

This, on the other hand, I basically played for the first time in 2 years.
Completely forgot about that huge trill but nailed it on the first try and proceeded to keep the AAA.
Feels good man. Nice end to this session.

Why am I so awful at 70s files then get good again in the 80s?

Randomed this and had never played it before, about 30 seconds in I was like damn, this is the most Plopadop file I've ever played and bam, I was right.
Felt like a nice sightread, will be hard to do better in the future because those rolls in the jumptrills are very tricky.

lurker asked me to play Grist so I did.
I AAA'd, missflagged, blackflagged, and 1-0-0-1'd the intro in separate runs
Yet, this run shows my best final PA. Those bursts man.

This simultaneously felt like a great score and a really poor run.

It's like, the streams are the perfect speed and the rolls have wonderful easy split patterns that barely register for me as being any faster than the streams.
It's one of the few Dossar files that really flows perfectly for me, the only hard transition is actually the one I got like 8 goods on in that run.
Unfortunately I seem miss randomly all the time in the file.

Much like Reality, it's just really, really easy for me for some reason. I swear someday I'll get a low teens or even SDG run on it.
