should i go d4 or d5 for the tourney

Try for D5. You should be able to do it. If you stay in D4 you won't really gain much except for kudos for scoring very high in a tournament.

I don't mind making you cry tears of sorrow if you want to play in D4, though.

You know, I think I'll join in on this. I've seen this thread floating around for quite some time, but only lurked in it. I've been D4 the last few tournaments and assuming I'll still be D4 this time as I haven't been too active on this site recently. But tournaments always get me back into this game and I could use some friendly competition to boost my interest in the game again.

The remaining two spots will be taken by the first round songs for D4 and D5 when they get announced Wednesday.

Go ahead and post some scores for this week, DissonantMuse and rCaliberGX. I'll figure out the potential issues after the tourney starts up.

Unless people want me to keep track of points for the week, I think I'm going to abolish them. I'd like to keep credit awards around still if people would like that. Song suggestions are always welcome.

Come back see axi has graduated =) yeeeee knew you were d5 for awhile now. Keep posting scores here, it'll give the rest of us a good measure of what to strive for.

So does anyone remember early on in the tourney sign-up thread I mentioned that I was told that I was placed in D3 last official based on one song score? Well guess what I was just told this time.... Placed in D5 because I have club AAA'd. Bubye d4 rivalry.. :'(
