I feel like you can unlock this without playing the whole file cuz it says I failed on the last note. Needless to say this was ****ing annoying to get rofl
Uhhhhh Dynam0 you do realise it never says you had to pass the song, right?

I assumed you had to play the entire song since it would make more sense from a skill-token perspective, then realized I still unlocked it while failing oops. Guess I did it the hard way

when it says you have to do certain songs consecutively, you're allowed to do anything in between that won't record a score. this includes relentless abuse of the restart button, and things like isolations and the no background mod that help you practise it. as long as you don't do anything that records a score, you're safe. and thanks
i just realised that i have the worst raw score on v1 out of everybody who passed the song. yay for me

how the fuck can you not unlock omgwtft0k3n!? it's literally one of the easiest tokens in the game if you know how to do it right, especially on r^3. in my opinion it's way easier than unlocking spontaneous hydroxide v2 or something (which i still haven't done).
maybe these things just come more naturally to me since i unlocked it within like a month of joining this forum and caused a bit of a stir in the suspicious scores thread or something if i remember.
r^3 instructions:
1. subtract 2.5 from your normal judge offset. this means that your normal "amazing" hitting window gets pushed back to the average/early good boundary.
------------(boo)-|-average-|--good--|-perfect-|-amazing-|-perfect-|--good--|--good--|-(miss)
normal judge offset: ----------------------------------^
judge offset -2.5 ------------^
2. set autofail to 8 misses.
3. hit the first 2 arrows late as if you were trying to get late goods, which are now perfects, because of the judge offset. score: 2-0-0-0-0 (2)
4. hit the next 10 arrows like you normally would hit amazings. because of the judge offset, if you did that right, each hit would be either an average or early good with roughly equal probability. your last note is the 2nd up arrow in the sequence of 3 up arrows. don't bother with trying to get exactly 4 goods and 6 averages. if you get your judge offset right so that you hit goods and averages equally likely, you should see a 4-6 split 21% of the time. score: 2-4-6-0-0 (12)
5. wait until the pause in the song after the 15th note (score: 2-4-6-3-0) and then hit 10 boos. maybe 2 quads and a left-down jump would be easiest. it's not hard. score: 2-4-6-3-10
6. just wait to autofail out at 8 misses. if you've made a mistake you should have enough time to see that you have, and hit restart. score: 2-4-6-8-10
it's not hard. if it takes you over ONE MINUTE from start to finish on r^3, YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG.
it's harder on velocity because averages don't give you life and there's no judge offset, so your best option is to get 8 boos at the start and hit notes 3-12 early, then wait until the 8th miss registers and hit a left-down jump for your last 2 boos just as the screen is fading to black.
it's far harder on legacy when you can't see the perfect/good/whatever counts on the screen. i have no idea why anyone would want to do it on legacy.
i can't aaa spontaneous hydroxide anyone help me guys
