The R3 engine made this brain dead easy, but people might not know how to do it.

If you need help, spoilers below:

For the R3 engine, it's quick. Use YoshiL's offset tutorial to find your correct offset. From there, turn the judge offset to 2.3. This will make your standard perfect into a "good" with the best room for error in my opinion. Hitting it early seems to result in perfect, and hitting late seemed to result in missing entirely. However, if you can AAA this song, you'll more than likely get only 1-5 goods overall.

Averages I found the best result was -2.8. Positive numbers just didn't want to work. :P

The av window is only on the downfield side of the receptors. Going the other way there's only a 2-frame good window iirc. I usually use +/- 2.7

Super Mario 8-bit Eighties Remix is already a frame or two offbeat, so you literally just need to tap to the music on that one, no offset screwing necessary.
