Ok. We are going to switch this up tonight. I came up with a bunch of ideas that did not require a camera. I put them all in the toilet, flushed and the one that didn’t go down was picked. So none of you have any excuse for not participating in this madness. There is no excuse!
Tonights contest takes place completely in the profiles. Think of it as king of the hill for profiles. Whenever you update your profile, it moves your avatar to the top of the page on FFR’s home page (look over to the bottom right of this page). Here is exactly how this will work
#1 Add a comment or picture to your profile
#2 Your profile moves to the top of the list
#3 keep your profile at the top of the list by adding comments or pictures to your profile
#4 Have your friends and family or whoever you want post on your wall inside your profile
#5 At 7:30pm Central time (yes in 1/2 an hour from now) The contest will close
#6 I will take the latest 10 profile updates and we will call them our “FINALE TAMALE’S”
#7 I will review our “FINALE TAMALE’S” and count the number of UNIQUE people that commented in their profiles during the last 30 minutes
#8 I will announce the GRAND TAMALE after we have done our finale counting
Please remember that when you update your profile, it must not be garbage and must be a somewhat worthy addition to your comments or photos. You already know what is acceptable and what is not. If you cannot find people to post on your profile, start begging in this news story or go somewhere else and beg.

Spontaneous Hydroxide
How is everyone doing this afternoon? I suspect some of you are still in school or work. Most likely in agony wondering what tonight’s contest will entail. Well… I would love to let you know, but as you know, I don’t even know! 
That’s why we call it Spontaneous. Ya know?
Our past contests have been very successful. We hope that tonights contest, whatever it may be, will do just as well. Don’t forget to tell all the people that you know to check back here at around 7pm Central time (5pm Pacific, 8pm Eastern).
The prize tonight? What else besides another t-shirt from the shop! This run of shirts is starting to get thin. I think we are already out of the medium black stock and the XXL in black but should still have both of those in the dark navy. We won’t be re-ordering this design until after the next run of the new design. So if you still want to get your hands on one of these, do it soon. Don’t say I didn’t warn you! (end plug). A SOTW To Reach The Ends Of The Earth
Hey everyone! SOTW time again – well, even though there’s usually more than one new song every week. This one is special, though – we’ve just added the talents of yet another wonderful signed artist, Joy Electric. One of my personal favorite artists, Joy Electric is the pseudonym of Ronnie Martin, a synthpop musician who’s been around for well over ten years. Martin’s sound is unique due to his almost exclusive use of monosynths, giving the music a very crisp, analog feel that’s unlike anything else we have on FFR.
Our first Joy Electric song is From Mount Chorus, off the incredible album Hello, Mannequin. The song is in the Misc section, and it’s rated a 6 on our 12-point scale – definitely something most casual players should be able to handle. Please take a look at the entire album and support his work – I can personally attest that Hello, Mannequin is wonderful from beginning to end. Look for more lovely synthpop from sounds here in the future…

Songs of the Week, 4th week of February
2 songs were released for SotW #1 of this week last night, one more song will be released tomorrow.
Sonic 1 Final Zone, both song and steps are by Wlokos, his first song for FFR.
It’s the third song stepped by the song author, since Abtrusity by RageVI.
Short and fairly easy song, we rate it 2/6(Easy).
You can find this song in Arcade.
Another song is Gaussian Blur 3, a new secret song. You need 30,000 credits to play.
Song is by Kil-, steps are by Rebirth0. It has 182 BPM long streams and some tricky bursts.
Difficulty Rating is 4.5/6(Challenging). Gaussian Blur 1 and 2 will be also on FFR, I believe.
More information, Improvisation et Chien will be released tomorrow.
Song is by Dissonance and steps are by hi19hi19. Steps basically go with saxophone, not very fast but rhythms are really complex and tricky so it’s pretty hard to hit accurately. Rating is 3.5/6(Difficult). You’ll be able to find this song in Misc section.

Valley Shuffle spinfile of the week
First of all, my apologies for no announcement about last week’s Spinfile.
The song was: Roostex – Riddle Me a Rat’s Nest [Difficulty 4].
He’s an extremely talented musician, with his stuff varying from Vocal Synthpop stuff to Acid-esque dance music, and even some Drill n Bass here and there.
Roostex doesn’t have any main page or anything really to advertise for him, so to compensate, leave comments here about how much you like his song.
Coincidentally, our spinfile of the week has a similar range of music styles as him:
Acidwolf is another alias of Benn Jordan, whom many of you know more commanly as The Flashbulb. His Acidwolf alias features retro acid music that uses old drum machines such as the TR-808 and relies heavily on the melodies of the TB-303.
Valley Shuffle starts out pretty simple, and ends up into a pink blur of swirls. It’s also a rather redundant song, so enjoy the four minutes… OF PAIN! MUWAHAHAHAHAHA….
