Read Token

So… The newest token has been out For..um.. about 30 minutes. The easiest way to find this token would be to sift through the trash at FFR.

Good luck. :) Remember the rules, no hints and no giving it away on FFR.

Songs of the Week, 1st week of March

Posted in Song of the Week on March 4th, 200727 Comments »

SotW #1 of this week is R176, cranky‘s song since Party 4U.
Steps are by Exag0n, his first file on FFR.
BPM is fast (190) and a lot of doubles are used, so it’s a fairly hard song.
We rate it mid-high 5/6 (Very Challenging).
You can find this song in Dance2.

SotW #2 is Let Me Be Your Pirate. Song is by DrugstoreCowboy, and hi19hi19‘s steps.
Music and steps are overall at moderate speed, therefore the difficulty is intermediate.
Difficulty rating is 3/6 (Tricky).
You can find this song in Funk.

Enjoy.

Spin It Up in game screenshot

Alright guys, it’s now the moment you’ve been waiting for! The winner of the SpinItUP! Spinfile contest. The winner of two months subscription personally paid by myself goes to:

MixMasterLar!

Not only did each and every one of his spinfiles turn out to be of super quality, but he was extremely dedicated the entirety of the contest by always asking questions, wanting comments and critiquing, and willing to make adjustments. Expect to see plenty more of his spinfiles this month.

Everyone should leave a comment on his profile wall and congratulate him on a job well done.

The featured Spinfile of the Week is done by none other than MixMasterLar himself:

Freezepop – Lazy [Difficulty: 4]

A nice, laid-back tune, and a song length of 4:54. Pretty chill.

The runner up of the contest our contest is Yesssss.

His spinfiles are also extremely top-notch and we will always be happy and willing to include his spinfiles in our lovely game in the future.

As a consolation prize, his spinfile will also be added to this week’s Spinfile of the Week:

Vospi – Nice Nice Noise [Difficulty: 6]

A counterbalance to MixMasterLar‘s spinfile, it’s fast-paced and pretty short, at a song length of 2:05.

Also, much thanks to all of you other contestants who’ve made this contest possible:

pokelda
Lord_Carbo
unkdavar
Unforgiven0

And don’t forget, although the contest is over, spinfiles submissions are always welcome here: spinfiles[AT]gmail[DOT]com, we need them to keep this game alive! Also, don’t forget when submitting to let me know your FFR username so I can keep them nice and organized. =)

Thanks again for all of your patience and attention for those reading and for those who’ve participated in this whole ordeal.

Love,

iPatcH

Free T-Shirts.. Come Play With Us

Posted in Uncategorized on March 1st, 200788 Comments »

So we were ready to try and pay some external companies to display FFR materials on other sites.. We consulted with our subscribers to see if there was an alternative or interesting ideas to take the place of an external company. And that is when the idea of “Come Play With Us” came up.

FFR wants to expose more people to our community and game, you want T-shirts.. So lets work together. We created a way to reward those who want real FFR merchandise and this is how it works:

You link to FFR with code similiar to this (replace Synthlight with your username)

http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/comeplay/withus.php?u=Synthlight

Any inbound links of unique legit IP’s will count as an additional point.
5000 unique people link in and we will send you 1 t-shirt.. no cost.. no shipping cost.

If you look below the profile block on this main page, you will see a variety of people who have already started participating today and last night in this program. It ranks everyone according to their points.

It literally couldn’t be easier to earn a shirt if you are part of a high trafficked site or partake in a popular forum. Just remember to respect the rules of the place you are posting the link to.

Additionally, if you would like to obtain the correct code automatically, you can log into your FFR siggy editor and grab the code from there.

Upgrading Multiplayer Service

Posted in Uncategorized on February 28th, 200731 Comments »

*EDIT* Multiplayer service upgrade is complete. If you have any problems, clear cache. Otherwise, it should work fine.

Multiplayer will be down for the next few minutes while we upgrade. I will let you know when it is back. In the mean time go get yourself some single player practice.

:)

Hear FFR Artists Live!

Posted in Flash Flash Revolution on February 28th, 200738 Comments »

Hey guys, here’s a heads up:

1) If you’re in the Ohio area on March 24, 2007, you should attend the Autobahn Electronic Pop Festival. FFR artists Joy Electric and Freezepop are going to be there – with any luck, we might be hearing some familiar music.
It would be really nice to see a whole crew of people there in amazingly good-looking FFR shirts. This will also allow these artists know how much we appreciate their hard work. As an added bonus, the shirt will have the girls (or guys) jumping on you like cling wrap.

2) If you’re not going to be in the Ohio area on March 24, buy a plane ticket there, or drive. If you don’t have a car, remember, hitchhiking is legal in 46 states.

Cheers,
Chardish & Spontaneous Road Trips

Small Run of Old Shirts & Stickers

FFR Sticker

Many people asked us about a new run of the old designs for the FFR Store. So we went ahead and mixed that run in with a few other items we are looking to stock. You will find the FFR Guy design in the “Pacific Blue” and also a few of the navy shirts available in this design. We also contacted a new sticker company to produce vinyl stickers (which have arrived). The stickers are now in stock!

To check out this new inventory for yourself. Go to the store here. http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/xcart/home.php

*EDIT* Those stickers are up.
