Recently got a letter for a new position with my job which will be a lot more pay/benefits and more hours but wasn't exactly a job position I applied for and wanted. I start training for it September 21st that lasts for about a month. Nervous about it but hopefully things work out. Will most likely be trying to find a different position that I'd like more in the next month or so and I'd get to keep the pay/benefits with it.

I just wanted to do a quick post to say that my horror novella Clowns Gone Postal is under consideration for a Bram Stoker Award!

I'm currently aiming for D7(Lv.94). To implove my earth power, I recently plays Thundersnail at warming up, with combining rating up and Shuffle/Scramble option. (I'm not sure the word "earth power" makes sense, it means "fundamental" or something)

Shuffle and Scramble are both useful, the former is to avoid mindblocking and train each fingers evenly, and the latter is to get used to sudden minijacks.
With those abilities we could auto AAA at easy parts of low-mid 90s, which is important especially when aiming for a PB I think. We could also AAA some songs simply by 210-220 BPM streaming skill, such as Kannazuki no Bullshit / Amnehilesie / FREEDOM DiVE etc.etc...


My current goal is AAAing 1.4x w/ Shuffle, which is 210 BPM and 25.2 NPS. my PB is 1.31x and yet not consistent, so it'll be a long way. w/ Scramble it's optional because they are too luck-based, but I hope I could AAA at 1.2x ish.

So I have done quite a bit and also wanna say that I am very happy with what I have been doing lately.
So far I picked up some other stuff now too and have been lacking on speedrunning games.
I picked up FNAF and other fangames of it. Like I am just enjoying that and love how hard it is.
I mean I got that from rhythm games too such as PUMP IT UP which, btw, going into that. I have gotten some amazing progress, like getting more S23 passes. Sadly though looking at the state that Phoenix 2 is in I'm gonna probably have to drop to S16 to focus on accuracy and getting SSS+.

A grind that I have started on here tho is for the tokens. I like em, they make me play things i usually wouldn't like PUMP IT UP titles.
At this point I'm gonna turn this board into a log cause of how much I like it here ^^

I know I've mentioned several times in the past half decade or so that I was done with taking rhythm games seriously as far as working myself up and improving. But life has a way of moving things and I'm done taking it seriously.

I might one day have the itch to play again but I won't be taking it to the level I was and I've long accepted that.

It's 64x64, very compressed using `oxipng` but still looks the same since its in PNG format and thanks to ImageMagick & GIMP, I can actually make simple Noteskin enough! :D
