ElectroShock You 3oh!3 Style
So here we are on thursday and as I promised to all of you, I have a high-resolution exclusive of the new 3oh!3 video “ElectroShock”.
I have to admit that the first time I heard of 3oh!3 I wasn’t quite sure to expect. But.. After digging into their past and present, countless videos on youtube and incredible lineup of tracks, I found a group that really hit home with me in a twisted pop, nostalgic, hip-hop, modern, retro, punk, gangster and mustache kind of way. (I promise, no more commas).
Below you will find a high resolution player for the Electroshock video directed by the brilliant Isaac Ravishankara. You can find the 3oh!3 FFR widget here and the 3oh!3 myspace page over here.

Kick Your Bodom
Up until now we have generally considered the widget players a more fragile and noob type of player (which they are!). We think it is time to start stepping it up a bit and create a widget that has nothing but challenging levels.
What kind of of music did we pick for this difficult genre? Metal of course. What band? Children of Bodom.
And as an exclusive to FFR, we have received the full resolution version of BloodDrunk. We have embedded it here in this news story and you can switch to fullscreen by clicking the fullscreen button in the bottom right corner of the video embed. Read more… »
Photo Scavenger Hunt Winners!
First off, if you haven’t checked out the entry photos, definitely browse through the thread. There is some seriously funny stuff in there.
Congrats to our winner! Jtehanonymous! His g-o-a-t-s-e, his nose fries, his lawn gnomes, his human pyramid, and especially his friendly UPS man all helped him to rack up the most points. Below is, in my humble opinion, his best picture:
2nd place was a tie between Ohsosilly and Tired_old_man, both with some amazing shots. 4th place went to Jaito and 5th to datenshi-requiem.
I hope everyone enjoyed this as much as I did. I look forward to coming up with more stuff for you guys to take photos of!

Be honest and say absolutely nothing or make it up and say you’re going to have a pillow fight with Donkey Kong in the Valley of Doom – just be sure to post something in regard to what you’ll be doing today and your entry will be accepted.
The contest starts now, but today, to mark such a monumental event, the winners will be selected a little differently. Beginning at 5 p.m. EST (roughly 1 1/2 hours from now), the first winner will be chosen and a new winner will be chosen every hour up until midnight EST. So get cracking! The sooner you get in, the less people you’ll have to fight off every hour! There are eight chances to win – 50,000 credits will be awarded to six lucky members, but at random through the day, two of the selections will instead be awarded a free three-month subscription! In-Game Song Reorganization (About Time!)
So we all know that the genres are getting over crowded. Because of this, I had stopped moving subscriber songs out of Funk, as well as not moving songs out of Hip-Hop from the event we ran a few months ago. BUT… Xelius has been awesome enough to code a page jumping feature and a drop-down song selection bar, which makes navigation much easier. Both of these features are still currently subscriber only, but will be released to the public within the next few weeks.
So with this fix, I’ve started to go back and re-organize the songs from Funk and Hip-Hop (and the 5 songs at the end of Dance2 that have randomly been there for 9 months or so). Everything is out of Funk. The 5 Dance2 songs are now in their proper locations. I’m starting to work on Hip-Hop, and should have it finished within the next 24 hours. If you can no longer find some of your favorite songs from the re-organization, I do apologize. I recommend checking this list for the genre of each song. Within the genre, you’ll just have to do a little bit of searching. Just remember that the genre difficulties tend to go from easiest to hardest.
