    1408

Bought on DVD for $10 today. It was really good. I'd recommend it.

    Anyone else seen it?

Saw it in theaters ... thought the actor did a good job (considering it was a one-man show), but I didn't really like the movie overall ... =\

It expanded greatly on the short story, and I thought the movie was fairly good.

I thought the ending was quite interesting. Never suspected an ending like that. I watched the movie with my sister and we were just laughing at it. I love laughing at "scary" movies.

It was OK. It was a little scary, but I've seen better.

I liked it - a lot, actually. I thought they got the atmosphere dead on, and some of the more subtle things going on in the room were fantastic. What I didn't like, however, were the other 'people' in the room. The static images that would flicker. If they had gone with real people - maybe gored them up a bit, but not enough to make it an "R" movie, because that would have honestly cheapened it - it would have increased the atmosphere ten fold.
"A new take on the epic fantasy genre... Darkly comic, relatable characters... twisted storyline."

"Readers who prefer tension and romance, Maledictions: The Offering, delivers... As serious YA fiction, I’ll give it five stars out of five. As a novel? Four and a half." - Liz Ellor

The ending(with his wife) made the movie for me.

As soon as the scares in a movie go from psychological to "BOO DID I SCARE YOU LULZ" the movie sucks. also gtfo nev670.
