Re: Music
Why is attaching quality to a genre necessary? Songs should be judged on a case-by-case basis.I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds. -

Moved to media. Certainly not CT, but I'll let Squeek decide its fate there.

Re: Music
Hmmm I think good old fashioned rock and roll. I'm talking about bands like The Beatles and Led Zeppelin.
The way 3 or 4 guys could just create songs with SO much depth in them amazes me. Classical was great, but many instruments were needed, and I feel that kind of music was matched in the 60's by The Beatles.

Re: Music
rap, because the emotions put into lyrics are so vivid.
use small words when you talk **** about me, because you'll be eating them later

Re: Music
When you say rap, are you talking about actual rap, or like the crappy (imo) 50 Cent, etc. stuff? If you mean the first, I agree.
I am not really sure what genre this goes into, but anyone know Bright Eyes? I also think there is a lot of emotion in that too.
