Need a vocoder program

Hey all,

I need a vocoder that works in real time. In other words, what goes in the mic comes out the sound card sounding all nice and robotic. It can't be something that loads a pre-recorded file and then processes it.

This isn't for prank calling purposes, I swear - my roommate and I are starting an electronic music show on a local radio station. We think it'd be cool to be robots.

PC or Mac is fine. PC would be mildly preferred since that's what our radio station has already, but I have a Mac that we could bring in if need be.

Reason does not have a live vocoder its got to be prerecorded you might be able to find a VST for ableton or FL

FL comes with vocoder, just download the demo.

Currently, to my knowledge, it's difficult to do this.

Althought i do have a hardware device that has a pretty taste vocoder . it's called a KAOSSPAD3 from korg .. but pretty pricey

You can do this in FL but it won't just be automatically robot voice you have to know how to set up the vocoder with a modulator and carrier.
