I use Acid Pro 6 right now and I just got a new keyboard to help with the production of music. I have the keyboard(Yamaha YPT-310) inputed to my computer via the Yamaha UX16 USB to MIDI connector. All the drivers are installed everything is said and done soft/hardware side of things. My problem is, I can't get the Keyboard to input into a MIDI event in Acid. I'm new to this whole MIDI option with a keyboard input thing so I have no idea what I'm doing. I've set my preferences as such:

Here's how I'm setting up my MIDI track:

I am unsure whether I NEED to use a soft synth. If so I figured the standard DLS would work. If I have to use another VST, give me recommendations on which might be good for doing so or if I need to at all. What I want to do is be able to both preview the voices from the keyboard through acid without having to record a track and play the keyboard and having the notes changed to the sounds of a VST. I like many of the voices of my keyboard and it would be nice to record the voices from it rather than using a VST, which I will only use for sounds not placed on my keyboard.
