    ATTN: FFR Music Producers

I was thinking of some songs to step for FFR/SiU on my spare time and thought that it'll be great if someone did some Namco remixes for the games. I looked around and, even though I found some great songs by some very talented artist, I didnt find many Namco remakes....

So here's the point of this thread: I want some Namco Remixes to step for FFR/SIU. Stuff like Soul Calibur 2, Xenosaga, Urben Reign, and Tekken would be great! The song I look forward to the most, though, is a Techno/Trance remix of Cassandra's theme in Soul Calibur 2.

One thing; If you cant for any reason grant me permission for the song, either dont post a link or at least tell me how to contact the artist

    Thanks

I'm going to go ahead and redirect you to OCRemix. While I'm sure someone here would be happy to remix something for you, they may be (like me) caught up in producing a serious album for the future.

And I have limited time with that. D:

Should be no copyright issues if it's a remix and not a cover. Tass can explain it better then I can but remixes are ok.

Thanks for the link iPacth, it seems to be bogging pretty bad but I'll check it later. I didnt know we had OC's permission.

We don't have OC's full site permission, although many of our remixes on FFR come from there. Each artist should have their own profile page and methods to contact them. Should be pretty easy.

Went to OCRemix, didnt have many good Namco stuff but I found plenty of other songs that would be great

Problem is, though, every artist I email doesnt have a valid address.

            *sigh*

i think this is sorta how the remix copyright issue works.

You can use a song and remix it with no penalization. If your remix sounds pretty close to the original, then its violating, but if you mix it enough where its still recognizable, but definately distinguishable from from the original, then its okay.
