Been thinking about doing this for a year but I think it's relevant more than ever now as I've been struggling with motivation. I get a kick out of discussing music and this should not be an exception. Plus, this project will both up my writing productivity and broaden my musical knowledge.
I'm definitely invested in this but I recognize it can be exhausting. I can't promise a full year of review, nor daily updates. To compensate, there is no limit to the total recommendations a user can submit although only 10 reviews are eligible at once to be picked. The drawing of the album is randomized and revealed on the same day. I will do rounds through every user's pool so everybody gets something reviewed.
I'm open to anything but advocate varied recommendations. We're discussing taste, so no need to try to impress one another, I do find the occasional bad release constructive. Memey stuff can go right down the drain though. As for notation, it will be however the fuck I want, you'll know if I like your stuff. Reviews will be kept entertaining and whimsical.
