Re: Piano Etude (Gymnastics) sheet music
missing notes in measure 3 i think (the second 16th beat and 10th 16th beat)
chord at 1:08 in the youtube video seems like it should be a higher inversion, idk if that's my speakers or something
otherwise A+ getting those runs lolComment

Re: Piano Etude (Gymnastics) sheet music
so i listened to various isolations of the ffr song at 0.5x rate (which transposes it down an octave) so i got to hear the treble part more clearly, at the cost of completely neglecting anything in the bass. i basically played a section, quit out and used the recent replays feature by pressing f2 so i could listen to the things without having to press stuff on my keyboard. (r^3 really needs an autoplay feature.) anything i write here relates to the right hand part (except the first one). my laptop speakers are shit for bass notes so i'll ignore those because i can't hear anything
bar 1: the last 3 bass notes sound like F-G-Ab (i had to use rate 2x to convince myself of this one)
bar 2 (isolation from 20): last 3 notes sound like A-Bb-C. i know the left hand part now doesn't make sense but i have no idea what it's doing there
bar 4: i can't tell if the spread chord has the Bb in there but i don't think it does *shrug*
last bar of page 1 (isolation from 140): second-third beats are F-C-A-F-A-C-F-C
page 5, bar 2 (isolation from 800): 8th note in right hand is an F
page 5, bar 5 (isolation from 860): the "missing" Ab you don't have in the right hand is definitely there
page 5, bar 6: the top notes of the chords seem to be F-F-Ab-Ab-Eb-Eb-Ab-Ab
page 5, last bar: the highest notes in the offbeat chords seem to be all Ab's, but i can't tell if there are notes that are too quiet for me to properly hear on these. not sure
page 6, bar 9 (isolation from 1100): the first chord should be an octave higher (bleurgh)
overall, amazing transcription. you should be bored more often. someone will hopefully repay you in the future by performing this live on ffr vidchat or somethingLast edited by Zapmeister; 11-20-2014, 05:34 PM.
Theorem: If you have a large enough number of monkeys, and a large enough number of computer keyboards, one of them will sight-read AAA death piano on stealth. And the ffr community will forever worship it. Proof Example

Re: Piano Etude (Gymnastics) sheet music
aite
i slowed it down and it still sounds like e flat, f, g, with the a flat in the next measure
fixed
sounds better without it so i took it out
fixed
fixed
sounded like it was an octave lower but it's hard to tell. fixed it anyway
fixed
sounds like it. fixed
fixed
also redid page 5 measure 3
someone double check it because the chords on beat 2 are hard to hear
i didn't make a new recording so the vid is still the old versionLast edited by 0; 12-1-2014, 05:27 PM.
