    CBR WIP Preview Mix

    "Hello there!
Here we have an almost 10 minute long "mix" of various recent WIP projects of mine.
On the waveform, I will mark where each tune begins and what the intent of creation of it was.
I appreciate all kinds of feedback, comments and suggestions for these previews and hopefully you will be able to see the finished product of some, if not all of these tracks, in the near future "

Well then... listen and comment away and as always, I hope you enjoy! Hopefully something for everyone here, especially if you don't dig my usual breaks/breakcore stuff.

#1 is like a whole minute of a melody that feels completely haphazard with hardly anything else going on until 5 seconds of breakbeats and then it ends? okay. great track!

#2 is cool. I really like that oriental feel and the pads help fill the soundscape out a lot. it feels very lacking in the low-end though but I guess you simply never got around to introducing a bass to it heh. I'd keep working on this one - if you add a slick bassline or something and up the intensity a little bit later on you could end up with something crazy sick.

the saw bass in #4 isn't very interesting. either use a different preset or add some dist or wubs or whatever to it or switch up the composition to make it less bland. once the melody pops in the boring bassline isn't so much a problem anymore since your focus is elsewhere, but if you're going to have something playing by itself for an entire segment it really ought to be more interesting. aside from that, no complaints here aside from it being too short ;p

#6 is cool but could really benefit from proper transitions between the different segments. as it stands, you have a crazy climax leading directly into a part that I'm guessing is supposed to be "calmer" but it still has that crazy trance-gated saw which brings plenty intensity on its own. there's not enough separating the intense breaks segment with the calmer part, and I think they sound far too similar on their own to have them lead into one another in this fashion.

I don't like #3 or #5 but ohaider likes them so i'm probably just gay

Haha thanks a lot Zagh, that was just what I was looking for -- I'll definitely work on 2,4,6 (lol even numbers) thanks to your critique.
(and 1, even though there isnt, like you mentioned, much to critique here. Think of it as an intro / outro to a break(core) album)

Also 3, 5 are tracks that aren't even under my CBR moniker but rather one that I haven't revealed / released yet.
I Just threw them in because people think I'm ALL ABOUT DA BREAKZ & GABBA KICKZ while that is far from the truth.
(I do every style really, consider me a non-furry Renard except I don't release shit like every month)
