Hey guys! I'm sorry I haven't uploaded anything recently - I've been pretty busy with irl stuff. I'm also starting classes soon, so I might not have as much time to make music. Don't fret though, I have a few tracks on the way, including a few potential collabs

Anyway, I made this remix for Remix War V (as you can tell from the title). I've always been a fan of Still Shy VIP, and I figured I'd try to make a UK Hardcore remix of it. I spent a lot of time getting the mixdown right for some reason on this song, so hopefuly it sounds alright.

You can download the song for free on box.com and soundcloud, or if you want to throw a couple bits my way you can buy it on bandcamp ($0.99, or more if you want).

Vocals could use a little toning down, in my opinion. The attack is quite jarring and takes away from the awesome light bells in the background and the great bass. Smoother attack and maybe a little more reverb so that they are more "ethereal" feeling. This is my main complaint.

The little glitchy section at 1:22 and others like it are sexy as hell.
In the next section you vary up the bassline and the melody a lot more, I think the first section of the song could use a little of that, especially a slight variation in the bass (even just slightly different bass drum fill or something)

Overall though this is very good. Very, very good.

yeah lowering the attack and adding reverb to the vocals would totally make this song that much better

The vocal stems that I had to work with weren't the greatest, but yeah, I probably could've done better on the mixing. Doesn't really matter now since it's already released.
