Reformatted hard drive has no internet

I'm trying to fix my little sister's computer after some bloatware she accidently dowenloaded caused a memory leak and my mom 'tried' to help. So I ran the recovery program, formatted the hard drive and tried to run windows update, but to no avail because there's no internet. Like, I plug the cables into the comp and it still isn't online.

Anything I'm doing wrong?

download the drivers using a computer with working internet.

copy drivers to a usb thumbdrive, or if you have to, burn them to disc.

insert usb drive/disc and install then on your sisters computer.

I had this same problem when I had to format my laptop, kinda sucked until I got it fixed.

check the device manager and download whatever else is needed as well
