    I'm building a computer!

I'll be using it for pretty much everything- video editing, 3d shit, shooping, gaming, the lot.

I do good? Did I pick anything pants-on-head retarded? What about the power supply and graphics card oh my god why is everything so expensive.

Pick faster RAM. Something like 1800 Mhz.
And also, I would go with a full ATX tower instead of a mid sized. It makes it easier to work with your cable management.
The other parts are pretty good. :)

The motherboard supports up to 1600MHz, so there's no need for faster memory. My main concern is the GPU and PSU, which I haven't dabbled much in.

I'll look around for different cases if that one's insufficient.

Build looks pretty solid, but what are you doing that requires 16GB of RAM? 6 should be more than enough for most people. I mean, unless you are doing all of what you said simultaneously, you won't need that much.

The PSU provides enough wattage for that build, don't worry about that.

The ram seems a lot more expensive than I usually see. Typically it is around 50 dollars per 8gb. But I guess it is because you are using 8gb sticks instead of 4gb sticks.

Lmao, 16GB was rather excessive. Changed to 2x4GB sticks. They're still $75AUD though.
Dropped sound card; mobo has one built in.
Changed PSU since the other one is unavailable.
Swapped EVGA 660 to MSI 660 Ti just cause.
Corsair Carbide 500R to BitFenix Shinobi XL because full size case, easier cable management, as xNiX mentioned.

            You guys might have to teach me how to PSU, unless the manual is thorough. ;¬;

Deducted $99.00 from total aw yis. New link in OP.

              Re: I'm building a computer!

I would stick with 16gb since video rendering for me on aftereffects did take over 24gb ram
              at some point.

How about a bigger secondary drive?
you might want to check out sandy bridge btw, even though haswells is faster overall it has a lot of integrated stuff over the previous generations so it doesnt convert all to raw power
Reminder for self to make new sig.
