    Graphical lag?

Might as well ask here since, well, I dunno really where else to go to figure it out.
I've got a small problem with what I'll call graphic lag on my computer. Whenever I play a game, be it League of Legends or Diablo 3 (WoW doesn't do it too much) something will happen on the screen such as my character attacking a mob and the whole animation will play but no damage or anything will occur. Then about three seconds later the animation will "catch up", leaving me a few seconds behind on whatever was happening. Putting everything on low settings doesn't exactly help either, and usually FPS is around 50+

    Any ideas?

    Comp specs -
    Windows XP SP3
    Pentium 4 @ 3.40 GHz
    4x 1g RAM
    nVidea 8800 GTS

    check for new drivers
check if moniter hertz is same as in-game (aka 60hz to 60hz)
check if vsync is on / off
check if anti-aliasing is too extensive

if all fails invest in a new graphics card, yours is pretty outdated
I managed to nab a GTX 480 for $200. Great deal.

Sounds like a internet connection problem.

Check your temperatures .....................freaking people think tehy can run their radeon at 75 celcius , life doesnt work likedat.

It indeed sounds like an internet lagg situation, but it can be oh so many other things, like a SUCKY PROCESSOR.

I was having weird graphical issues with diablo 3 and I solved it by moving the game to my solid state harddrive as opposed to a standard 7200 rpm HDD. It seems like diablo has some excessive loading issues that aren't very optimized with its open world and constantly loading style.

I have the same exact issue with Diablo III, you know as much as it could be an issue with your computer/connection you can always apt to blame Blizzard's servers, because you know...they are Blizzards servers.
