I haven't been on here since about 2008 or sometime around there. It has been a very long time. I logged on thinking about pulling out Stepmania and I can't find the Simfiles. I'm guessing that they no longer exist here, but what happened exactly?

You are correct. The simfile database is no more.
Why is that? Simple: It was a huge load on the server, and it was a huge liability on the site from a legal standpoint. Heck, there are still some songs on the main game that we don't technically have permission for but have not received requests for them to be removed, such as Silence.Originally posted by thesunfan
